About
I am Erin Boyle, CEO of CHOW. Beyond my professional role, I’m a friend, sister, partner, daughter, aunt, dog lover, potter, avid reader, crafter, hiker, magic maker, and chef. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, I’ve worked in San Francisco, Washington DC, New York, and Denver. After nearly two decades in the industry, I transitioned to teaching, which I found fulfilling.
I bring lived experience navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD, which has shaped my resilience and deepened my empathy for others. In 2013, I took an important step forward by seeking support from a therapist who helped me better understand and manage my challenges. After witnessing the mental health and substance use challenges faced by my staff, family, and friends in hospitality, I made a commitment in 2019 to improve access to mental health resources for everyone. As CHOW’s CEO, I focus on outreach, education, and de-stigmatizing conversations about well-being in the restaurant industry.
