The WISH Clinic addresses the growing public health crisis of chronic wounds, limb loss, disability, and health disparities among medically vulnerable populations. Chronic wounds affect millions of Americans and are associated with increased morbidity, mortality, hospitalization, social isolation, and healthcare expenditures. Many patients face significant barriers to accessing specialized wound care, vascular assessment, compression therapy, mobility support, and caregiver education.
