Community Impact Forum: State of Energy

Friday, July 17, 2026 (8:00 AM - 9:30 AM) (MDT)

Description

Energy is at the center of nearly every conversation about Colorado's future, from the cost of doing business to the reliability of the grid that powers our homes, employers, and institutions. Join the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce for a candid look at where energy in Colorado and Jefferson County stands today and where it's headed. As the state works toward its 100% clean electricity goal by 2040, demand is climbing from data centers, electrification, and population growth, all while ratepayers face rising costs. This forum will unpack what's driving these changes, the limitations and trade-offs our region must navigate, and the opportunities they create for businesses, workers, and the broader community. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of Colorado's energy landscape, what it means locally for Jefferson County, and how to plan for what's ahead.
