Keynote / Moderator

Anjul Loiacono
Chief Commercial Officer at Elevate Quantum

Anjul is a passionate leader who fosters partnerships to accelerate commercial technologies in deep-tech industries. Prior to joining Elevate Quantum, Anjul was Vice President at Infleqtion where she launched the world's first commercial quantum matter service. Anjul spent over a decade at Thorlabs, the world's leader in optics and photonics products, where she held roles in Corporate Development, Strategic Marketing, and Product Development. While at Thorlabs, Anjul played a significant role in developing corporate strategies and leading acquisitions; contributing to over a 10x growth in the company during her tenure.. Anjul received a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. She volunteers her time mentoring and working with industry organizations including Optica, SPIE, and QED-C. Anjul will never turn down an offer for tacos and coffee.

Jessi Olsen
Chief Operating Officer at Elevate Quantum

Olsen comes to Elevate Quantum from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where her background centered on workforce and economic development topics. Her work at BCG included leading the growth strategy and community benefit planning for a $2B+ capital project in the clean energy space. In this role she supported state, local, nonprofit, and private sector stakeholders in developing strategies for workforce development, community investment, large scale infrastructure investment, and the roadmap for establishing a clean tech innovation hub.

Throughout her career, Olsen has worked with both public and private sector organizations to develop strategies enabling them to capitalize on emerging opportunities in cutting edge technologies and manufacturing. In her work, she has helped organizations navigate complex challenges such as upskilling, public-private partnership design, long term planning, operational excellence, international supply chain design, and among others.

Olsen holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Sristy Agrawal
Co-Founder & CEO at Mesa Quantum 

Sristy Agrawal, PhD, is a quantum physicist and the CEO and co-founder of Mesa Quantum Systems. She earned her PhD at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she worked at JILA and NIST, discovering her passion for quantum sensing. This passion led her to establish Mesa Quantum, a pioneering company dedicated to developing chip-scale quantum sensors aimed at enhancing Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems for widespread market applications. Headquartered in Boulder, Mesa Quantum has secured over $2.5 million in grants from the US Space Force and the state of Colorado to advance the development of chip-scale clocks, critical for alternative PNT architectures.

Scott Sternberg
Executive Director at CU’s Quantum Incubator

Scott J. Sternberg serves as the Executive Director of the CUbit Quantum Initiative at the University of Colorado Boulder where he leads efforts to enhance CU Boulder’s leadership in Quantum Information Science and Technology (QIST). His work focusses on collaborating with regional universities, federal laboratories, and quantum-intensive companies, and promoting QIST interests at local, regional, and national levels.

Previously, Scott served as the Executive Director of the Boulder Economic Council and Associate Vice President for Economic Vitality at the Boulder Chamber of Commerce where he supported business recruitment, retention, and networking, while also liaising with key statewide organizations to foster regional economic development.

Scott holds both a BS and MS in Physics from SUNY, College at Cortland and Colorado State University respectively.
