Community Table provides a variety of programs and services to feed the hungry and help put struggling families on the path to self-sufficiency. The Client Choice Food Pantry empowers those in need to choose their favorite foods based on family size and a nutritious shopping list. Our Feeding the Future program provides hungry schoolchildren with a take-home sack of food including fresh fruits and vegetables to eat over the weekend so they return to school on Monday ready to learn. The Mobile Food Pantry delivers a ''client choice'' shopping experience to very low-income, migrant, and elderly populations that are unable to visit our main facility.
In 2013, Community Table began a new program, Bridges to Opportunity (B20) focused on assisting neighbors in need with support and resources to lift themselves out of poverty. B20 provides a variety of offerings, including assistance in obtaining public benefits, GED tutoring and test preparation, employment readiness, client computer room, housing referrals, funding for housing deposits, emergency services such as housing and utility vouchers and more.
