Lead Technician/Project Manager in Training

This Lead Technician/Project Manager in Training position will perform water, mold, fire remediation duties in commercial and residential properties. No experience with restoration necessary, we will train you. Characteristics of what we are looking for in the person we hire for this Lead Technician/Project Manager in Training position: -Thinking long-term and would like a great career and not just a job -Wants to grow with our company and receive financial rewards for doing so -Enjoys and has experience working with his/her hands in any skilled trade (even as a hobby) -Has general demo or tool operation experience (saws, floor scrapers, hammers, drills, etc.) -An eagerness to learn more -Reliable and will show up for work -Honest and loyal -Self-motivated and positive attitude Lead Technician/Project Manager in Training job duties include: -Removing wet drywall and baseboards -Removing wet carpet and/or pad, and other flooring types -Removing other wet materials when needed including contents, small furniture -Lifting, moving, dis-assembling customers belongings and furniture as needed -Possibly removing mold or sewage contamination -Setting up drying equipment correctly, including commercial fans, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers and more -Extracting water or sewage from flooring with commercial extractors -Cleaning the property with commercial cleaning products after job -Sanding/grinding/cleaning floors, sub floors, framing as needed after removal of wet or contaminated materials -Fire jobs include the same duties as listed above on a larger scale -Attention to detail in cleaning is VERY important. Some jobs have extensive fire or mold contamination and have to be cleaned very detailed for safety of the customers to return home. Additional Requirements: -Flexibility: Be able to switch gears and jobs quickly as needed. We deal with emergencies most of the time, so every day is different. -Availability: Be able to work evenings, if a job runs over or comes in late, and some weekends. You will rotate being on-call with other team members. -Reliable: Show up on time, get equipment and/or vehicle, get to job site to meet other technicians -Adaptability: Handles stress well. This is a tough job physically and sometimes mentally. -Empathy: We help customers of all backgrounds and living situations, you must have a good backbone and a good heart. -Problem solver: Be okay with not always knowing the full scope of work when you walk in. Be able to assess a job and get to work. -Follow directions: We provide a checklist and a methodical process to follow at each job. Our team is required to follow this checklist and turn it into us. This makes the jobs easier so you don’t forget a step, and it helps us know what has been completed on each job. -Be able to pass a background check -Have a valid drivers license with no accidents/tickets in the last year -Have a working cell phone -Good health and fit to carry and transport heavy equipment and be on your feet for many hours At Restoration 1 of Central Denver… 1) Growth and advancement.
