Job Description:
If you believe in experiential and fun educational STEM opportunities for children, Colorado Adventure Point (CAP) is interested in hiring you! CAP is an educational, recreational, and creative-focused activity center that provides programming from birthday parties and summer camps to archery lessons and welding classes. CAP is currently looking to add to our team by hiring a STEM program focused Executive. This position will take ownership over much of the educational-focused programming that CAP offers and work to expand the current catalog of activities.

Our site serves thousands of children every year in our 20,000 square foot activity center. Our building features a two-story indoor climbing wall, indoor archery and BB ranges, an art lab that includes welding tables, technology lab, STEM classroom, teaching kitchen, and conference space. We also have a completely enclosed courtyard that features a garden along with our gaga pit! The physical space we have enables us to provide a truly engaging and unique experience for every person that comes in the door.

Responsibilities:Learn and adapt current STEM programming at CAP
  • Develop new activities, lessons,and programs to grow the CAP catalog
  • Deliver all programming to kids is a positive fun way
  • Help develop and run CAP's 2022-2023 Winter/Summer camps
  • Assist with building and program staff management
  • Be able to effectively teach hourly staff and volunteers to deliver the program as well
  • Network on behalf of CAP with Denver area schools, community organizations and other relevant groups
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior experience in education or working with children
  • Ability to commute reliably to work (this is partially a hybrid position, but will require being physically in office for much of the time).
  • Bonus: Previous job with a school/ school district, homeschool group, or youth-serving organization in the Denver area

?Compensation: $52,000+, depending on experience, benefits
