The Bookkeeper/Business Associate works in a team environment responsible for full-charge bookkeeping, monthly write-up, tax, payroll, general ledger accounting, and other accounting functions for a high volume of clients. Some individual and business tax preparation (1120, 1120s & 1065) and quarterly payroll taxes (941) as well as special projects work may be required.

RECOM Power Inc. is currently seeking an Executive Assistant / Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Denver, CO (Metro Area).

About Us
This individual will join a global organization that has served the electronics industry for 40+ years as a leading manufacturer of power modules, including DC/DC Converters, AC/DC Converters, Switching Regulators and LED Drivers. Our products are used in virtually every industry that requires low-to-medium power voltage conversion, with our primary focus in Industrial Control, Medical, Transportation (including avionics), Telecommunications, Military, and Test Equipment. We serve large original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and smaller, lower volume users through our network of sales representative firms and distributors in North America.
 
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual, for the position of Executive Assistant / Marketing Coordinator, for a dynamic electronic component manufacturer located in Denver CO. This person will perform administrative and marketing duties for executive management. Responsibilities may include screening calls; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; training and coordinating promotional material with sales team; and customer relations. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.
 
Job Responsibilities

  • Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics
  • Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications
  • Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Prepares monthly bookkeeping files and manages employee’s travel reimbursement
  • Pays invoices and monthly commissions to independent Sales Representatives
  • Create and post social media posts
  • Provide appropriate text for CO-OP ads with distributors and external media outlets
  • Oversee marketing budget and contracts
  • When necessary, welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Completes projects by assigning work to staff; following up on results
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; takes minutes of meetings
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Create posts for company intranet
  • Create monthly newsletter for sales representative firms
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Work within the CRM/ERP/Extranet systems for all data management 
  • Other duties as assigned and required
Requirements
 
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements and high expectations
  • 3+ years of assistant or secretarial experience
  • B2B or Electronics industry experience a plus
  • Some marketing experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Good communication and cross-functional skills
  • Reporting and Time Management skills
  • Technology savvy with interest in electronics industry
  • Business and technical aptitude
  • Strong program and project management skills with focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, progressive environment
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, results-driven
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office tools especially Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with Google apps
  • Familiar with Adobe Photoshop a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP system helpful
 Compensation and Benefits
  • TBD annually; commensurate with experience
  • Benefits package available
  • 50K-60K Salary Range
Remarks
  • Flexible Work Model (mainly remote or hybrid)
  • Employee must be located in Colorado and attend weekly in-person department meetings or if the situation requires additional in-person meetings
  • Limited travel within North America (<10%)
