Description
September Program:
Join us to hear from Jefferson County candidates that will be on your ballot this November! Candidates include those running for County Commissioner, Clerk and Recorder, Coroner, Treasurer, Assessor, and Sheriff.
The top 3 reasons to attend this can’t-miss event for Jefferson County voters:
1. Engage in the issues that impact your business and community
Be the first to know how your elected officials will address critical community issues. This includes how the sheriff will tackle to opioid crisis, the county assessor’s view of economic shifts and home values, the clerk and recorder’s role in election integrity, and the county commissioner’s plan for budget limits and prioritization.
2. Speak directly with your elected officials and candidates
Before and after the event, you will get the opportunity to meet the candidates and local elected officials in attendance. If you have a specific concern, question or opportunity, this is your chance to be heard!
3. Network with other business leaders and community members
Before the event, enjoy coffee and breakfast items from Knead the Bakery with fellow leaders and connectors in the community.
Candidates:
Coroner
**Matt Archuleta will not be attending as he is leading the investigation in the death of Officer Vakoff
We decided to pivot these conversations to in-person events as we recognize people are craving connection, community and networking that only an in-person experience can provide. We look forward to hosting these events to inform and educate the community on crucial issues as well as providing a networking experience before the program featuring coffee and a light breakfast from local restaurants.
