BEGINNINGS

A uniquely popular skin care and beauty soap company was established in Brooklyn, NY by C. Kay Manos (Pantzis) a women owned-business with her family in 1940, called Manos Soap. Manos Soap was also the name of her unique products. The recipe from the Greek Isles from her travels from the farmland in Santorini along with Kay's passion are still the inspiration that results in face and body care Manos Soap products that emulate nature in all its simplicity and purity. The wide range of nutrient-packed products means there's something to make everyone feel clean and beautiful.

TRANSITIONS

After the long trips to her new home in New York, Kay began to recreate the soap from Greece in her Brooklyn kitchen. Later she moved to Norwalk, Connecticut and opened Kay's Luncheonette and asked her brother, George Pantzis to join her venture. There she and her ever-growing family began experimenting with cold-process soap making. The small handcrafted batches became so popular that the company began to formulate new personal care products and expand beyond soap now. Two generations later in Greenwich, Connecticut, her family managed to restart the company that currently sells the Manos Soap Co. products.

TRADITIONS

Reestablished the Manos Soap Co. is now headquartered in Arvada, Colorado (10 minutes from Denver, CO) and its mission is to continue Kay's tradition of creating uniquely small batches of skin care products using only natural, nutrient-dense ingredients which are free from sulfate, paraben, phthalate, gluten and palm oils.
